“ Started with the hot rocks filet mignon and ahi tuna. Both were great and I loved the interactiveness of cooking my own food on the rocks. Plus, the garlic ginger sauce/marinade that came with was excellent! Next were the rangoon and volcano rolls. The rangoon roll was warm which I liked and tasted a little like a crab rangoon though less cream cheesey/crabby. The volcano roll was very light and fresh. There were spicy peppers on top that I passed on, so the pieces I had weren't spicy. Last was the ramen. This was spicier than expected (nothing too crazy but had a kick) but I loved everything in it. It also wasn't too heavy and was the perfect ending to my meal. Vibe was casual and service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely return. ”

“ Was able to grab a table outside (under the enclosed tent) to car watch. The restaurant was filling up quick! Started with: Steam Edamame (the chili sauce was good touch) would recommend. Potstickers dipped in the chili sauce from the edamame, good Mains: Filet Mignon Japanese Hot Rock, if you've never tried, recommend, not a lot of food so order some sushi or sides. Note: You can ask for more hot rocks if rocks goes cold. Also ordered the sushi platter, now this was filling! it had tuna, salmon, salmon roll, chopped tuna, a whole bunch of good stuff! Hot Rocks + Sushi platter, good for 3 people. Service: Waitress explained everything about the hot rocks and sushi platter, so sorta received "Are You Sure" look after ordering everything, but we all agreed, go BIG or go home... In this case, only thing that went home was a couple sushi pieces. Service was quick so if you are trying to catch a movie this is perfect place.. Coming back.... ”
“ This place was excellent! We got some hot stone meals to share. It's exactly what it sounds like. You get a stone heated to 450 degrees and you cook your meats on it. Great and interactive! We had miso, edamame, and potstickers to start. All super delicious. For my meal, I got the Ramen burger. I just had to try it. It's a burger with Ramen noodles for a bun. Not to be a Petey repeat but it was delicious! It was our service first night and she did an excellent job! If she hadn't told us, I would've never known. I'm impressed. Pretty great food around this area of Chicago. ”
“ Opted for takeout from this place and ordered the Beef Sizzling Rice, which I did enjoy overall. The shiitake mushrooms were a particular highlight. While the experience would likely have been better if I had dined in, I do plan to return and explore more dishes. Tip: If you're doing takeout, note that the entrance is the same as Shaw's Crab House. ”
